1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClassKhata ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ClassKhata.

2. Description of Service

ClassKhata is an offline-first mobile application designed for fee management at tuition centers, coaching academies, software institutes, and similar educational organizations. The App allows you to manage student records, track fee payments and dues, generate receipts, and produce reports — all stored locally on your device.

3. License & Plans

Upon purchasing a plan, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on a single device for the duration specified by your chosen plan:

All plans are one-time payments. There are no recurring charges, hidden fees, or auto-renewals.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of ClassKhata, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes related to educational fee management.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Not distribute, sublicense, or resell the App or your license.
• Maintain the accuracy and legality of all data you enter into the App.
• Keep regular backups of your data, as the App stores data locally and data loss from device damage is your responsibility.

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data entered into ClassKhata. Since the App operates offline and stores data locally on your device, we have no access to your data. You are solely responsible for the security, backup, and management of your data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• ClassKhata is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We shall not be liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, theft, or accidental deletion.
• We shall not be liable for any financial losses, damages, or disputes arising from fee calculation errors or data inaccuracies.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App license.

7. Refund Policy

All purchases are one-time payments. Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Please contact us via WhatsApp or email to request a refund. After the 7-day window, refunds may not be available.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, logo, branding, and all related materials, is the intellectual property of ClassKhata. You are granted a limited license to use the App as described in these Terms. No rights to the intellectual property are transferred to you.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete it from your device. For time-based plans (Basic, Pro), access expires automatically at the end of the purchased period.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or in the courts of Pakistan.
